Background, constraints, and the working style behind this site.

Background

I studied computer science at UC Santa Cruz and now focus on software engineering work that sits between product development, automation, and practical AI-assisted workflows.

This site is intended to show how I think, what I build, and the kinds of constraints that shape my approach to engineering.

Constraints

Ergonomics

Nerve pain forced me to rethink how I work. That changed my tooling, my scheduling, and the amount of repetitive input I am willing to accept in a workflow.

Process

I use AI tools as part of the implementation process, but the goal is still the same: better judgment, clearer systems, and work that holds up under review.

Working Method

Energy-aware planning

Match the type of work to the amount of focus and physical bandwidth available.

Careful review

Use AI for speed, then review outputs with the same standards you would apply to any collaborator.

Clear scope

Good implementation gets easier once the actual problem is described precisely.
